MEDICAL BILLING SPECIALIST/FULL TIME
Individual must be able to adapt to an ever changing, busy environment. Candidate must be reliable and a team player with a positive attitude, having excellent computer and verbal/written communication skills for provider, staff and patient interactions.
Education Required
• certificate from an accredited Medical Billing Program
Qualifications
• At least 4 years experience in medical billing and revenue cycle
• Understanding of the claim submission process
• Knowledge of CPT coding, ICD-10
• Understanding of medical and insurance terminology
• Understanding of compliance, law and ethics ( HIPAA)
• Bi-lingual ( English and Spanish) is a plus
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
Computer Skills Required
• Familar with medical billing software systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office ( Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Able to navigate Windows and the internet
